Never had this problem(text unreadable) with my linux. I guess it's the problem with video card.(drivers or hardware)

Usually I like KDE, but not so much with Mint KDE.

you can use the Mint4Win installer in version 7 and then update it, or you can burn a cd of the iso and dual boot your PC, but that deletes the drive to my knowledge so ide Mint4Win it my self

How does KDE work with Mint? I know Mint uses Ubuntu basically but I had Ubuntu (Recently) and when I put in Kubuntu (KDE) instead of Gnome, it ran ok but later in the day, when rebooting, it didn't load correctly and loaded into the Gnome looking desktop.
Gnome hasn't given me any problems so far but just wanted to know... thanks : )

the KDE version of linux mint is awesome. all works fine =.
but the new kubuntu comes out tomorrow so i would give that a try =p

I think I am going to get Windows 7. it's so much better and nicer looking.
