To use the in-built PSO-1 scope rangefinder, start by lining up the thick horizontal line with the feet of the target.
Next, move the scope (Left or right) until the head of the target touches the curved black line (Labeled 2-10)
Whichever range marking the target is closest to when he fits neatly between the two lines is your range to target
The centre 5 echelons are what is used to compensate for bullet drop. For example, if the target is 800 meters away you would line up the fourth echelon with the target....and BAM!
@darkice100, the line which says 1.5 is the line to use if the target is up to 1.5 metres in height (standing up) and the 0.5 line is the one to use if the target is below 0.5 metres tall (lying down or crouching)

What does the 1.5 and 0.5. mean? What is the use of the marks to tens?
