  • hey, firedemon, I know you got this vid from the consumer reports crash test website. there is a link on the iihs homepage to that specific page. but i have no idea how you downloaded it.

  • Actually, no. The passenger compartment intrusiion was very well controlled by the strong structure cage. The side air curtains completly shielded the dummies' heads from contact with the crash test barrier. Also, there was a small amount of glass coming in from the shattered windows. That is a goood thing. All that contributes to the Impala getting the IIHS's top rating of "Good". This crash would be survivable.
