HOW TO: Record with HD-PVR

This is how to setup hd pvr, use it to record and play games at the same time.
Also you can record many other things.
Once this is setup, you simply plug the usb into the pc and then start recording.

You need:

Component cables
hd pvr
hd tv with component / av sockets
a console lol.

Simple and easy to setup, if you use headphones you simply split the audio with spiltters, which cost about 99p.
The hd pvr is £150 in the UK and about $200 in the USA.. euro is around €150 too.

You can record games, music, films, sd tv, hd tv, cable tv and some sky boxes.. or anything that passes, through the box.

For xbox / ps3 setup you will need to buy an official compoent set which cost about £10.
You can buy cheap cable, but after a while the picture will degrade.

@FrOzEnYoGuRtZzz thats because you don't have a component cable, you just have a composite, you have to buy a seperate cable from the ps3 to the hd pvr.

my only problem is that i record in sound but when i open it in sony vegas there is no sound so none of my vids have sound

@HARWII123 you are best to buy one from amazon or play - if anything goes wrong with it they can always replace it too... i got mine from play when they first came out and have no issues and also english plug...

I got the official sony cables because cheaper ones "rainbowed"- but whenever I get flashbanged they lose the signal :/
