While the EPA declares the gas that we exhale to be a deadly poison, as protesters at Copenhagen decry the suffering of polar bears as their population figures increase to record levels, and as delegates in the Danish capital warn of the dastardly peril of cows farting, a New York Times report confirming that U.S. drinking water contains dangerous levels of arsenic, uranium and other radioactive substances barely gets noticed.

Furthermore, the new study shows that the Environmental Protection Agency knew that water systems all over the United States were contaminated with dangerous levels of numerous toxic substances, yet failed to punish the vast majority of water authorities involved.

Since the environmental movement was completely hijacked by globalists hell bent on world government and devastating carbon taxes, real environmental problems have been swept aside as the contrived scam of man-made global warming swallows up all the attention.

Our drinking water is contaminated with toxic waste, our food supply is poisoned by genetically modified garbage, and our consumer products are laced with cancer-causing chemicals, but who cares right? Surely all this pales in comparison to the effort to stop the world warming by a percentage of a degree over the next 100 years?

More than 20 percent of the nations water treatment systems have violated key provisions of the Safe Drinking Water Act over the last five years, according to a New York Times analysis of federal data.

That law requires communities to deliver safe tap water to local residents. But since 2004, the water provided to more than 49 million people has contained illegal concentrations of chemicals like arsenic or radioactive substances like uranium, as well as dangerous bacteria often found in sewage

  • Of course decades ago the Club of Rome said they would use the environment to bring world government. They said that this will make mankind the enemy and people will willingly destroy themselves and economy for mother earth. I wish each one of these sick fucks would get a 45 to the brain seriously.

  • we truly are living in 1984 where things that give life like CO2 to plants is considered deadly lol. Seriously wtf world are we living in. I know full well the benefits of co2 in the air. Plants grow faster, more fruit etc. They suck up the CO2 and store it, when they decompose they release it. When we burn Coal/gas whatever, we are simply releasing it again, which will be sucked up by plants in the world...Climate Changes people,,,,

  • @arneperschel -- Ron Paul says pollution laws should be TOUGHER!

    /watch?v=XsZ6-2BdpIQ

  • It depends on your defintion of pollutant. CO2 is a gas we exhale and is vital to the balance of life on earth. Without CO2 the planet would be much colder, with more CO2 it would be warmer. The problem is that the pace at which we are altering our atmosphere leaves species, including our own, no time to evolve and adapt to the new circumstances. Therefore CO2 now poses a threat to human health, though be it indirect. But I'm sure they'll reevaluate this declaration in 300 years time.

  • Scientists say that we might reach a tipping point where we will lose control as positive feedbacks increasingly kick in. So the 800-year lap may still prove to be valid but is only part of this story.

Here's the list of the warmest years on record: 2005,1998,2003,2002,2009 (as projected),2006,2007,2004,2001,2008 (source: NOAA). We're at the end of the warmest decade on record (smashing the previous record - the 90's - to pieces). Do you want to deny that the earth is warming?

  • In some cases in the past, CO2 levels followed temperature increase, yes. But back then, there were no humans or coal plants.

The earth goes through well-known cosmic cycles that have triggered ice ages and warmer periods in the past. It seems plausible that in the past, the sun triggered warming, followed by the release of CO2 from melting permafrost and forest fires, causing a positive feedback cycle. However, this is NOT happening now. Humans are the new variable in today's model...

  • What do you mean by greenhouse signature? Do you mean the ever decreasing sea and land ice? The sea level rise? The bleaching of corals? The melting of the permafrost? The ever earlier spring blossoming and bird migration? The increase of extreme weather events? The thousands of climate refugees and deaths? The outbreak of plagues and diseases in new areas? Or just the increased temperatures?

Birds and ice caps have no political agenda.

  • 1. Where is the predicted greenhouse signature?

    2. CO2 rises AFTER temperature changes.

    3. The word is not warming any-more.

    4. CO2 is already doing almost all the warming it can do.

  • @arnepershel: Please prove to me that Co2 is a pollutant as now officially declared at Copenhagen and that it drives the climate? You will not be able as it is no longer true.

No the debate has never been held, us sceptics have been compared to holocaust deniers. It was thought that the number of us was tiny. Like flat earthers. Sorry mate but you are being conned. If it had not been for the internet the IPCC would have got away with the biggest scam in history. Remember that this is about CO2.

  • @jonfrodo It has been estimated that the costs of adapting to and of repairing the damage caused by AGW will dwarf any preventive investment we could do now. Furthrtmore it's disgusting that these calculations should be made in the first place when we are talking about the lives of millions of people at stake, about the extinction of thousands of species and the loss of invaluable cultural heritage (i.e. Venice, Amsterdam, ...).
