Shinedown - Simple Man - (cover)

My brother "Moose" suggested I sing this song a while back... I had never heard Shinedown's version, and the first time I did, I was like... "Are you crazy?!" I thought there was no way I could ever sing their version of this song... at least not well enough to try it in public!... well, I've since proven myself right about that a few times by embarrassing myself out at karaoke, and today I prove it to the world by posting this video here! :o)

When I started making this video, I was looking through photos from my parents place in KY and it took me back to a time when my life seemed so much simpler... the images you see in the video are just a few of those photos.

Anyway, here it is for your viewing pleasure (at least the parts where I'm not in the picture :o) and if you can get past hearing me strain my vocal chords, you might be able to enjoy the song too! :o)

Never mind other peoples versions! You have your own unique style. Every artist puts their own twist to a song that has been duplicated many times over.

That's what makes it so different!
