  • ok, best boards for ion in order

    1.APE rampage

    2.Tadao

    3.Virtue

    4.Blackheart

  • LOL tado and virtue are about the same. and blackheart is pretty good for seeing as tho u cant use any faster in psp

  • ions are amazing. you get the most bang for your buck. in my opinion.

  • thats not as fast as it can go. jsut messign around with the board and stuff. and its a halo b 35v rip drive.

  • @DuncanRacing24

where do you get a body like that ?

  • @fullclip897 the blackheart board is decent when it works, but it's super susceptible to moisture (like I bet if you sneeze next to your gun, the board will short and die) and it has no shock tolerance (I bet if you dive into snake, one of the capacitors will fall off... and the board will short) and they have no warranty or backup or anything. I had a blackheart because it was cheaper than other boards... stupid me.

  • @pntbller14 i just picked up a used virtue OLED for $65...

don't get me wrong, APE boards are dope, used them in every DP gun I ever owned, used them in a bob long, used them in an ion too... To me, they're not as worth it... I don't know why. I'm not a newbie, I'm not ignorant or anything like that, and as I said a few comments ago, rampage boards are awesome, I just prefer a virtue and a tadao over it. I really only use semi uncapped, psp12 (almost never), and the nppl standard (tourneys)

  • @pntbller14 also, Simplicity of use is a matter of opinion, ANY board will take time for the user to get used to, saying one is better then the other just because it has fewer setpoints is like saying antenna is better then cable because it has fewer channels, better? no. Easier to use? Depends on what your used to. You dont HAVE to use all 72 setpoints, but if your savvy enough to then you have that option, and the APE manuals put it in terms a 3YO could understand, so you can learn

  • @shizbisquit add the 10$ to the price of whatever ape board you want for the lifetime warranty, and i can virtually guarantee youll still get it cheaper then the Virtue OLED board for the same gun, why pay more for less? Ive played with my rampaged ion in the woods when it was raining AND snowing (even in an upstate NY blizzard) its taken all the punishment ive given it, and ive had to replace the keypad 1 time in the past 3 years, 15 or so $ big deal.

  • @watchmedunk5 you're retarded. I'm sorry, but this is a diagnosis, not an insult.

  • @pntbller14

highly customizable isn't always good. there are too many options on a rampage board and you won't use 1/2 of them

virtue has an unlimited, no questions asked, no matter what happens warranty on all their products. AND it's moisture resistant unlike rampage boards.

APE is more versatile, but you're never going to use ALL 27 modes will you? Virtue has 10 and works like a frikkin charm, is pretty much indestructible (under the circumstances) and has the best warranty and easiest setup

  • @pntbller14 APE boards are the most underrated boards on the market, but even mike from techPB has called them amazing boards, if the owner of the company wasnt an average joe and had the heaps of money that virtue, tadao, and other companies have for advertising his boards would be just as mainstream and popular, but only a seldom few people even know what an APE board is, and even fewer actually look into them.

  • @shizbisquit h t t p : / / w w w(dot) goapeonline(dot) com/index (dot) php?option=com_content&task=view&id=13&Itemid=44 <-- product comparison, as far as adjustability and reliability go APE is top, ive tryed the tadao, virtue, blackheart, and Virtue OLED all were decent, but none came close to being as versitile as the APE. Ive never used a Tboard or Spitfire, but you said virtue dominates them all, that link proves APE beats out Virtue and Virtue OLED, so it easily dominates the others as well

  • @pntbller14 ok... not at all. T-board and spitfire board are waaay better than APE Rampage and Blackheart is shit. Tadao's don't really make ion boards, you have to get a modded or PL frame, and virtue dominates them all but doesn't allow for a MAC33 which is a HUUUGE bummer
