Offensive attack initiated by E019 on one story wood frame with possible trapped people. Attack went into defensive mode after oxygen cylinder ignited. No injuries.

@whitedevil9 you have to remember the firefighter triangle; life and property go first, so to use your deck gun first is not a completely thought out IAP. Plus there was reports of trapped occupants, surround and drown is not the way to go... you would have killed the vics. An offensive attack was the best route to go at first, good decisions were made all around.

@KISSman4307 Figuratively speaking. When the deck gun shoots, on big house fires like these, the fire begins to fizzle out. 500GPMs is a lot of water.

This call came in with multiple victims trapped. Home was not totally envolved upon first unit arrival. Search and rescue and fire attack was initiated upon arrival. Ended up that occupants made it out safely.
