I'm not a musician but I'm a Cockburn fan and I think you did a heartfelt job.

You do a great job with this. I haven't heard this song for such a long time. And there's not much of it on Youtube. Thanks for posting.

This song has special significance to me and I totally appreciate your version of it... well done and thank you for reminding me about Bruce's music :)

actually I think you sing it pretty well.

Awesome!

what's that extra string? That's pretty cool!

Nice cover :)
one of my (many) favorite Cockburn tunes

I just reread my previous comment and it sounded harsh, which was not my intention. Well done on the ax

it IS raw -- the idea was to do first takes of everything I do. 'Do' meaning guitar work - the voice is secondary. I'm nosinger (nevertheless obsessed musician)
-- the 'fash...' was a slip of the tongue.
Gladly I can record an instrumental...
you sing the voice-over.
thanks for all your positive criticism, guys.

Do you have an extra bass string strung up there? What's it tuned to? B?
Very nice job on this song by the way!

Thanks,
Yes, I had a luthier add a 7th str. I use it for resonnance or for better voice-leading in the bass. The string, which is thicker, can be tuned at Eb, D, C# or C (only on rare occasions do I tune down to B). for more info, search yahoo! group 'guitar7ch'
