It's been a while since I update the channel with a new song, so today I had some time in my hands and I decided to break the ice with some fine arrange.
I have seen many new faces in this time that I have re-building the channel, not everyone knew about the existence of this music, so I'll take this chance to re-introduce the talented Takase to the audience.
Takase is the leader of the circle named "Magnus Opus". A talented 1 man circle that mix Touhou Music with Metal Progressive elements inspired from bands like Dream Theater, Symphony X, Opeth & Angra among others.
His music has been faved by many, and without a doubt has made our dreams come true, to listen such a wonderful genre mixed with the beatiful music from the Touhou music.
Back on the days where this playlist was only called "Metal/Prog", Takase was the only man who could fill the name in strict sense. I originally named the playlist like that because the idea was to have "Metal and/or Progressive" kind of feeling, as Metal Progresive, was, is and it will always be my favorite genre.
However with the flow of time, I decided to re-name the playlist as "Metal/Rock" that stands for "Metal and/or Rock" (although metal is an specific case of rock), in order to avoid confusion between many people thinking that the genre that others arranger play was "Progressive".
"Progressive Metal Rock", as the name of the genre itself, is the blend beetwen Heavy Metal & Progressive Rock.
It is a genre that focuses in complex composition, and odd time signatures. Aside from sometimes having a really strong concept behind each song or each album, giving by result what it is called a "Concept Album" (one story, that is connected and builded by each song and each lyric of the songs itself).
That is how I like to define progressive metal rock, and without a doubt it was the genre that really introduced me to the formal concept of "music". Thats why I consider Takase, to be one of the most talented arrangers behind the touhou music scene.
By the way, I haven't featured any song from his recent album! There is still a lot to do before I upload new material. I want to, at least, reach 100 to move on with new material. But hey! Picture this: "Touhou PC-98 Metal Progressive music".
Yeah I know, its like a dream come true isn't? So go now, but the album, and enjoy it in the theater of dreams.
Thanks for watching.
To those arguing that this song is stolen........
Please, note that I explained that Takase likes to fuse his favorite metal prog jewels with Touhou music.
I have been always been very respectful about the comments that the users made on the videos, but claiming that an independent arranger from the doujin scene has stolen a song, is just nonesense. So please, be careful with that type of comments.
Thanks for watching.

And yes, we have heard this argument tons of time with Takase and other artists.
Tokunan from Demetori likes to fuse Deep Purple solo's with their songs.
Hell, the past channel was banned because Malmsteen corp thought they ripped a song from the fatso.
Kissing the Mirror? Who can't forget that Nightwish cover.
What about CROW'SCLAW?
Please, this is indie music from the doujin scene, there has been lots of discussions about this already.

And sorry if I'm letting my frustration talk here, but this kind of "stolen music" is the kind of things that forced me to take down the past channel. But anyway, I am out of the borderline.
