My Chinese herbalist friend says Singaporean mothers are responsible for the more gay men!
She believes they give too much barley water to boys at puberty and cause the biological imbalance leading to higher leaning to"Aqua".
Maybe consider feeding barley water and less red meat to see for yourselves if your sons become less aggressive.
Too much barley water for growing girls is said to lead to what she terms"Bai Dai".
Maybe Josie and all should look to barley water rather than to Satan &all

Too sad singapore got lots and lots of gays now! to all the gays " Do let your father/brother marry sleep with man and let your mother/sister marry/sleep with a woman la" go get aids and to all gays go to hell!!!!!

Whatever party we are siding, we should not use derogatory and insulting remarks. Be civilized Singaporeans.
The govt has worked so hard preserve racial and religious harmony & now Dr Thio stirs up discord. She should have spoken to the AWARE or complained 2 abt the program she disagrees to MOE.
Sometimes I feel like it is a drama group of Christians making a fool out of themselves. I dunno wat ppl think of us. Sigh.

Very Sad. Singaporeans now see Christianity with a different perspective . I don't think they see love, kindness, peace, compassion, etc. Would Jesus have behaved in such a way?

Surprisingly, this saga is so much more dramatic than the Mas Selamat escape and then capture recently... HAHA!!!!

Dear AWARE Committee: It has been more than a week since I've posed these questions and there has been no reply. I'll post it again:
Do you tell your daughter that 'ANAL SEX CAN BE HEALTHY OR NEUTRAL IF PRACTISED WITH CONSENT AND WITH A CONDOM?".
Do you tell your son: "HOMOSEXUAL IS PERFECTLY NORMAL. IT IS THE WAY OF LIFE"?
If not, why do you tell that to my children?
Now you know why Thio SM is my hero? She fights for my children. Who do you fight for?
-
Maybe the church should be monitored to ensure no undue foreign influence had been behind this saga, either to destabilize mainstay Singapore secularism or divide Singapore women.
I am a Catholic but under the social contract of living in a secular state, I do not feel any religious grouping has the social mandate to take things into their own hands and aggressively seek to take over a secular organization and to impose there own religious beliefs and moral agenda.
Singapore needs be watchful.
yes
to stand up for pluralism
diversity
inclusiveness
and your rights...
shouldn't that be what being a singaporean all about?
unless as a singaporean you believe that there are those who must be discriminated etc...

SOOC's brand of religious and racial purity should have been stopped long ago.
