ONBOARD CAMERA RIDE 2 (DRIVERS EYE VIEW) :Test video.

We've now bought a mini cam small enough, to go anywhere around the layout (Currently under construction). This is a test video, to see which editing settings will work best with this camera (DVR-410).

Please note picture has been altered to 16:4 wide screen. Also the camera's built in time date water mark, has not been set to correct time date. Looking into removing time date water mark.

So as you'll see in this video, we've still to make & install the final 2 baseboards. Work is currently still on going, on the baseboards next to the incline. Installing the power bus & track power feeds to these new baseboards, as well as installing some point work (to be shown in next update video).

So with this new mini cam, we now can get the camera into all parts of the layout, which we wasn't able to do with the other camera's. Examples being, across the bridge & through the middle fiddle yard loops.

Loco used for this video is Bachmann (Modelzone ltd ed) class 97 (ex-24). Control system is all DCC using Hornby Elite on version V1.4 firmware. Trackwork & points are all by Peco, with Hornby track used on the outer test track loop. Trackwork is all code 100 (OO scale). Loco's & rolling stock are by: Hornby, Bachmann, Heljan, Lima, Dapol, Mainline, Airfix, Roco, & Electrotren.

Great intro to the whole layout - well done so far! That HST hurtling past was quite scary at times! looking forward to see how it progresses!

@JohnPW22 Thank you. The HST think it wa only running about 1/4 on the control knob. It's a bit mental if let loose above 1/2 setting!! More update & onboard video rides as the layout progresses. Kind regards.
