So sad. ppl just dont learn. Remember Columbine? it shocked ppl for a while but nobody but the town residents learned anything from it. ppl still hated and isolated other ppl and it now this happened. Marylin Manson made a really good statement when asked what he would have said to the Columbine kids. He said "I wouldn't have said a single word to them. I would have listened to what they had to say, which is what nobody did." Yes, never forget it, but also think about what you can do to stop it.

I can't beleive that it took two fucking hours for security to show up. What if some of those victims had guns? Maybe fewer would have died...

@beanz1787 We are right! Most importantly, when I was in high school everyone picked on me including the teacher. Even my friends abandoned me because people isolated with me is being isolated! And you know what I hate teachers and students saying they are innocent in a school shooting! No they are not innocent when you ignore the agony of others you can't expect us to listen to you!
Teachers are generally coward!

how comes that a land of free spends 3000 billion $ on a undeclared war and is not able to protect the lives of its own citizens?
maybe the definition of war on terror should be revalidated?

What does the country's defense spending have to do with the action of a single sick individual? Take the money and put it towards anything else, and this terrible tragedy still unfolds.
Be angry at the war if you wish, but don't attach that anger to everything else you see.

thanks for your kind feedback in this matter:
i gladly answer your specific question "what defense spendings have to do with the action of a sick individual": the increasing absence of such spendings into things like preventive (mental) healtcare, education, jobs just to name a few could give a fruitful perspective to individuals before they turn to be sick individuals beyond a point of no return. this can be one approach to avoid that such a tragedy unfolds again.

The only problem with this thinking is the innocence of the thought that because we are increasing awareness, funding, and resources towards something, that it will solve the problem.
Would it help to fund these kind of initiatives more? Sure.. It would help to feed the starving of the world, spare all life that's willing to be saved, and find limitless natural energy that would lessen dependency on planet killing fossil fuels.

But these are utopian thoughts that might change future course, but will not.. and could not... change the past. Without tragedy, there is no understanding of the good in life, for it becomes normalcy.
It is a world in which innocence must be lost in order to move forward. This tragedy hit home for myself, and many others, because of that.
It is as you said -- increasing awareness might be an approach to avoid another such tragedy. But to say it would have prevented this one is naive.

I realize now that this response was a little off subject, but over the 11 months this video has been posted, your response has been echoed in different forms, and I've not really responded my thoughts. I apologize if that came out of nowhere.. I will be more mindful of the question at hand in the future. Thank you for responding in an appropriate fashion, and not in the lashing out style I often see on YouTube.
