I know I have posted two videos this week so far, but I was really inspired by a request I received and that darling photo at the end of this vid, to do a little'Vintage Fitness' video. The photo is by one of my new FAVORITE retro specializing photographers, Celeste Giuliano.

People don't realize that the TYPE of workout you do,can make a difference in how well you look in your vintage outfits! So work that waistline, mama!

To see the rest of Celeste's GREAT Portfolio of Pin Up Girls or, if you live in the Philly area and want to schedule a shoot, visit her myspace page:

  • Great tips! I would really love to see a hair tutorial on that last pic of the girl in the black. So cute!

(I know this is an older video so I hope you'll still see this comment! hehe)

  • @rightclickos I did see this comment and I've added that photo to my 'request' folder! Thanks!! xxoo

  • hey first of all i just wanna say i love your stuff. i was just wondering whos the artist of the pin up on the scales.

  • Edward Runci. He's my absolute favorite Pin up artist. His girls are very 'Disney-esque'. :)

  • very cute..but 10 glassesof water???

  • Nutritionists and the FDA recommend 8-10 glasses a day, on average. However, many nutritionists feel that a more accurate way to determine your own body's needs is to take your body weight and divide it in half...that amount in oz is your individual needs. For instance, if a person weighs 150 lbs, they should be drinking 75 oz of water a day. For a person who is heavier, that number will naturally go up. So 10 glasses (or 80 oz) is a conservative average.

  • Also...at least if you're an American...what we think of as 'one glass' is usually much bigger than 8 ounces. The 'normal glasses' in my kitchen are at least sixteen ounces. So ten glasses of water a day is not that much- a lot of the times, drinking 80 ounces of water a day is really more like five or six glasses! So you can do it!

  • I love this one, hun. Great advise!!

  • I hate saying this becuz i know it doesn't apply for everyone, but if i don't keep my calories up i gain weight. It sucks, i've tried counting calories and every time (over the span of 3 months ive tried) i do, i gain 5 to 10 pounds, then when i forget about them, bam the weight comes back off. It's annoying becuz i really hate overeating, but if i don't i gain more weight :(

  • aha.. so thats what twinkies are! (I thought they were crisps!) :) Great vid

  • awesome

  • I like your style!

  • Is that an old schlitz ad @ 2:55? Fantastic!
