@opinionated99 Yeah, Iwill be honest, I still yelp from time to time. Sometimes it's more barable when I take it out of the fridge and wait hmmm about even near an half hour, seems to take that stinger down some. I think sometimes if hitting on a vein, that makes it hellish lol. Doc wants me on it every ten days now, but I am like, na, I can wait on that LOL.

This is the first EMBREL injection video I've watched that doesn't scare the shite out of me. Ok, now I think I can do it:) thanks!

I do the Humira pen shot and it'slike shooting fire into your leg, no where to run lol. Needle is ok, med, agg! But I thought at the start, RA hurts a lot worse ,I took a deep breath and Pop, a little yelp, count to ten, and bada bing lol.

@bensaund I use Humira syringes and yes you are hurt they do hurt like heck. Dr told me to leave the syringe in room temp for a while before injecting it,but it still hurt like heck. So I have found what worked for me is injecting it quickly and it does not hurt as bad.
Thanks for making this! You put a lighter feel on doing this for the first time! I'm 16 and I did this for the first time yesterday and to be honest it was kind of a traumatic experience. I am now terrified of doing it again this Saturday. Are there any therapeutic exercises that you do to calm nerves?

@PrettynPink124 Do you use the auto-injector? Honestly at this point, i usually just have something on the TV or i'm blaring my favorite music and I just push the button.. :-) Don't watch as it's being injected just hold still until you hear the "click" and you're all done! :-) It gets much easier.. Best advice I can give is to let it sit out for about 45 minutes.. They say 15 is sufficient but i feel the closer to room temperature it gets, the easier of an experience it is.. :-)

P.S. Christopher, are you blogging about your experience? Thanks : )

@averygoodsoulhasshe I'm not really.. Thought about it.. But at this point, over 2 years in, there's not much to blog about.. I can make a follow up video tho for those who are interested.. I find it to just be 30 seconds of my time now once a week.. No real issues.. But if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to hit me up! :-)

Hi everybody!
I've just taken my13th shot, every one taken w/ Christopher : )
The rheumy said I've begun to show negative RA readings..."empiricaly," l but I'm not feeling *any* difference, esp. pain/limitation-wise. (The rheumy looked at me **very** strangely for not being excited about it.)
When do you start really feeling much better with your RA? After how many shots, usually?
Thanks Ever so Much! ♥
Aussi, salut! Comment sont les résultats pour Enbrel où que vous soyez?

@averygoodsoulhasshe haha! I'm so glad i could be an inspiration to as many people as I have been.. It gives some validation for me making this video.. :-) Keep up the good work! I take it for AS and I honestly felt a bit of relief after a couple and now i'm basically pain free (with the exception of a bit stiffness from time to time).. Keep going and hopefully it will work great for you as well! :-)
