Highly more probable that the russians would probably manage to move to west during ww2... but ending with russian occupation (as liberators after the german invasion) of Great Britain wouldn't have been much more fun than the german occupation.
I agree absolutely with you. But you need to go easy... you know, americans still believe that they won the war all alone. Another true fact we can be grateful due to 'hollywood crap'.
And you know why it wouldn't make a difference to them? Because - putting it nicely - americans have pretty much no clue about anything going on in the world. If England had passed away... never they would have crossed the atlantic to get it back. It would have needed that much time to even try it, that the german technological supremacy would have knocked them out.
Already the many 'thumbs up' you got for a naive remark shows how much they know about it.
-no British navy - all British ports controlled by Germans, who also would have had TOTAL air superiority over half the Atlantic
- U-boats would have run riot, based in British ports and harbours,
-American tanks would have been sunk in mid-atlantic with their carriers
-i am a BRIT but I think your thoughts of an American force taking back Great Britain under Nazi control, are at the least fanciful- fairytale in reality
@atom2009 shame we don't have enough airworthy aircraft to be used in films now, have you seen the trailer for red tails? Not one real footage of aircraft in it.

@JamTheMan4Chelsea and how would this liberation have been possible?
