@Lazierc Aikapaljo porukkaa teit, meil tääl pikkukyläs on 18 paria meit vanhoi =D. Juu, tänää oli itel esitys vanhemmille, huome on kouluille yks ja vapaayleisölle yks esitys isol hallil. Meil ei noit pompadourei ja boogieita oo ohjelmistos, vähä erilaine versio tangostki. Jännitys ja helpotus on kyllä ne sanat =D.

Itellä oli tänään wanhojen tanssit, oli kyllä kivaa vaikka aluksi jännittikin ihan hirveästi. Ja meillä oli jotain 64 paria :D

Ei hitto tuo boogie näyttää hauskalta. Muutenkin näyttäis olevan hyvä tunnelma, hauska katsella :D Minusta on aina ollut tylsää katsella oman koulun tansseja, mutta näillä tyypeillä näyttäs olevan sen verta hauskaa että ihan mielellään tämän kattoi loppuun.

You're so correct! I am originally from Bavaria (very close to Austria) and we dance like this as well. U.S. proms are ridiculous affairs with over-priced dresses, cheap rented attire for the boys, and atrocious behaviour.

Vanhojen tanssit (or Wanhojen tanssit; in English "The senior ball") is a formal prom held in Finnish upper secondary schools (lukio) during the second year. It is a celebration of the fact that the 11th graders are now the oldest of the school. The prom is usually held in February the day after the 12th graders have finished school, after which they have a study break to prepare them for the matriculation exams. Sometimes the first word is spelled with a w for a more archaic feel.
