District 9 is a science fiction film produced by Peter Jackson and directed by Neill Blomkamp.It takes place in Johannesburg, South Africa.In the movie aliens refugees; the last survivors of their home world come to earth.They are forced to live in specific places set up to seperate them from the humans.Control over the aliens is givin to a privite company called Multi-National United (MNU).MNU could care less about the alien survivors.If MNU manages to get the alien weaponry they would get alot of profit.MNU can't get the weapons to work because they need alien DNA.One day MNU operative Wikus van der Merwe is infected by a mysterious virus that starts to change his DNA.Now he is the most hunted man,because he is the key to unlocked the alien weaponry.He goes into hiding in DIstrict 9.
