  • @DJNANINO ummm n othe sugarhill gang - rappers delight was the first actually rap song to be played on a radio/tv

  • Afro Futurism, sun!

  • Thumbs up if People Under the Stairs "crown one" brought you here.

  • It's hard to beat early 80's music...you could get freaked out...or laugh your ass off at stuff like this after smoking weed. Todays music, by comparison, is better suited to television commercials.

  • @bedlumproductions This is very much hip-hop, thank you.

  • @CLEKTRONIK This is Electro NOT Hip Hop. Glad you like it though.lol. ;)

  • @turntableable ...it was gathered along with hip-hop, they had no classification for it. Planet Rock's Soul Sonic force wore outfits similar to these, and it appears it was a continuation of Parliament which was funk..they simply attached electronic instruments to it. Strangely enough, Kraftwerk pre-dated this stuff, but were more mechanical in movement - thats why Germany probably lached on to it. (sorry to ramble) I loved it back then, too - great music.

  • Sum Real Hip, Hop Stuff !!!!

  • @SuperOmnicron

I don't know, we used to call it hip-hop. I was only like 13 years old or so, but that's what we called it back then. The term electro-funk might have existed, but nobody really used it.
