Try to play not so far away from the C string. Every time you have to hit a note on the C string, it seems like you have to reach over quite a bit. So, even when you are playing on the G string, try to angle your bow a little more toward the C string so that it won't be hard to reach it when you need to. Best wishes, I'm auditioning for the YOA as well!
