this song reaches the heart , mind , and soul. It also has the feeling of sorrow and happiness at the same time which moves every emotion you could have with that being said this is music at its prime

Definitely one of the best interpretations of The Moonlight Sonata that I've ever heard. :-)

L'arte è un mezzo per elevare il proprio spirito verso il divino.

Questa interpretazione ne è la viva testimonianza.

With enough practice anyone can play without looking...just saying. But yeah it was good.

Even more astonishing: Kempff was over 90 years old when this was recorded, and a disease (Parkinson's?) was holding his skill back. Imagine what he was like in his prime. Such emotion in every single note. This captures what Beethoven intended with unbelievable precision.

I LOVE THIS VERSION!!! I love how half the time he's not even looking at the piano... Absolutely brilliant, and played at just the right tempo!
