Sharang is a social venture aiming to harness wave energy only to propel boats. Its founder Shreyas B R explains in this video the mechanism used, benefits of such a boat and its economic viability. This project has also been selected amongst the top 100 innovations in an international competition organized by Dell.

  • Very good everything. But if you like can take a look at my blog, where I'm still showing my device. This one you still using, was used by the japanese man in the Mermaid II, travelling in a last generation catamaran from Hawaii to Japan. And he did a media of 2 knots or less.

    My system is innovator, really, and can bring a speed to the limit of the hull, in displacement models. My boat is a planning hull, and I spect to planning, so I think I can do more than the speed limit of the hull.
