@OnlyPartizani Nope, don't work for them and I don't use them anymore lol. It's easier for me to just load things up on my flash drive then transfer to my other computer that way. About 12 hours faster...
@BlakPilar buddy I feel bad for you. You either work for them, or are stuck using them, either way this software is not the solution. Good luck in the future.
@OnlyPartizani I know this isn't Mediafire, I was just using it as a reference. I'm using CrashPlan right now and I'm transferring >17GB at 10-400kb/s (one of the lines is down with my ISP) and it's taking 12 hours to 2 days depending on the connection speed, so I know what you mean
@BlakPilar this is not mediafire, this is a backup provider, who should compress and encrypt my files, move them to the server using my upload speed, in the quickest way possible. If I am backing up a 2gb folder, it better not transfer 2gbs over the net! otherwise its a pretty crappy backup provider. I have done 9gb backups that have taken 20-30 minutes, with a 1mb/s upload speed(and not using all of it).
@BlakPilar the software has to first process the files, and then transfer them over the internet. And this program says 8/9 hours from the second the backup begins. That tells me that its slow at processing and preparing files to be transferred over the web.
Lol too long? Nah, I am uploading 2.4 terabytes to crashplan going 4 months total, 2 months left.
I am only on a 15/2.2 line, so it's not insanely long.

I backed up over 85GB in less than 3 hours FYI ;)

@OnlyPartizani Ok, how long does it take you to upload 2GB to something like Mediafire?

@OnlyPartizani It's not the program, it all depends on your connection
