The Chinese have taken the white man for a ride, essentially lured the greedy corporations with bait of profit, may be revenge for the Opium wars and future does not look pretty. America shot itself in the foot, by giving China the market and Europe reluctantly followed. A wiser approach would be to spread the manufacturing jobs and market access to many different developing countries, instead of giving it all to one, that knows how to beat the system well by cheating in every possible way.

Lets face it. Good and Bad are practically irrelevant when it comes to business. America would've done business with Hitler if it were profitable

Didn't we, the U.S., spend 30 years or so, and billions of dollars, in a Cold War against the evil communists? So why the hell are U.S. corporations doing business in China? It boggles my mind that the entities with the most wealth, political power and influence, are also what I would call the least patriotic ones! Peter Navarro ROCKS! Check out his appearance on BookTV.
Evil communists? I would consider this phrase a bit too discriminative and stereotyping. If you are referring to CHina as still a communist country, then, i think u should pay a trip to China and see for yourself!
From my point of view, i think this issue of recalling "Made in China" products as blown out of proportion. Any one who is familiar with the policies and procedures of international trading would agree with me and see that there is U.S political implications beneath it all.

Rubbish, a good analyst doesn't need to travel to China to analyze the economic, political, and social situation there. What you get to see in China is a state sanctioned guided tour of how well members of the communist party live (the CCP has around 60 million members). What they leave out is the brutal genocide and persecution, widespread poverty, oppression and limited freedom of the rest of the Chinese people.
