35W Bridge Collapse Visualization

This is a the final version of my visualization of the collapse of the 35W bridge. It was produced for my special topics course. Since there hasn't been any offical information on how the acctual collapse occured I focused on the construction and official reports on the state of the bridge. It is entirely possible that some other factor or factors caused the collapse.

I am a bit concerned about the kettle river bridge in sandstone and have stopped crossing it, going the long way now.. lots of cracks can be seen(i've been under this bridge many times) and patch repair plates. hope it's replaced soon.

I can tell you what the missing 'factor' is. It's called transportation departments deferring maintenance on metal bridges.
