Monkey vault is the basic for kong vault. The main thing is to get rid of fear of diving in the kong vault. Nice tutorial.

@devilloader There's no practical reason to have different names. The movement [both variations] is called "saut de chat" in French, which translates roughly to "jump of cat" or "cat jump." Some English speakers call it cat pass, which is more similar to the translation of the original French name.

"place hands at the edge of the wall..." Wrong. Place hands as far as you can across your obstacle.
