@1manwithstick .....I think I have been lucky in that area. With trying to play Rush, you do need clarity as there is a lot of arpeggio work in ALs playing, so you need to keep your thumb round the back, rather than wrapping it round, so you can play individual strings notes clearly. I guess it just takes practice a suppose or even try and get some tuition??

@GuitarDude07501 ..... I mainly learn by ear and watching the live dvds, some good tabs at 911tabs, but they are never that accurate.
