@Fluffycoolness just open the program and then click select window, click on the window sized sims 2 window and then f2 to start recording or stop recording and f3 to pauze.

i honestly dont know neither, but have you looked by the glasses? becaus most of the time other stuff is there too,. or maybe the downlou just doesn't work hope it helps!
