Within the U.S. Special Operations community is an elite group of handpicked warriors who are tasked with only the most dangerous and difficult missions. A small group of these men acted as consultants on the development of Medal of Honor, infusing the game with their experiences and contributing ideas that make it the most authentic and relevant combat experience to date. In the Tier 1 Interview Series you'll hear their personal stories and find out what it takes to operate at the highest levels of the U.S Military.

  • Good god. Stop posting things that don't need to be on here.

Nobody needs to know the unit's new name. No one needs to know.

Do these fellas a favor and not a disservice. Tighten up the security habit a bit shall we?

  • @Jmerino7 CAG (Combat Applications Group) and ACE (Army Compartmented Element)

  • @DopeShowDeath People always forget the 24th and the other STS'. Thank you for not! :D

  • UK Tier 1 is SAS/SBS/SRR and Tier 2 is UKSFSG. Technically our Royal Marines and Parachute Regiment aren't SF, but they're at the same level as America's Tier 2 groups such as the Rangers. Evidence for this is that the UKSFSG consists entirely of active Royal Marines and Paras with no further training. I just hit you with the knowledge!

  • @nick61729 Apparently, we need schooling more than we need war. It shows by your comment.

  • @GucciGunz SAD/SOG ARE known to the public, how else would we know about em ;) Theres just not very much known about them. And about the deal with Bin Laden, you are 100% right about it. The military and gov. does indeed try and keep as little known about the specs on the mission as possible. But if you do research, you will find that the DEVGRU operatives were being led by CIA SAD operatives. They will not tell you outright, but that is who they are

  • @DopeShowDeath Don't forget ISA now.

  • @BassBitz I think those unknowns fall under the CIA's Special Activities Division, who apparently works hand in hand with the "Tier 1" guys. I'd assume SAD takes the best of the best from Delta, ST6, etc anyway. I remember hearing that the OBL take down op was officially CIA, even though most of them were ST6, although there's been lots of conflicting info about that so I really don't know.

  • @Jmerino7 1st SFOD-D (Special Forces Operations Detatchment-Delta) may be what your thinking of. Or CAG (Combat Applications Group) It's all Delta Force, and yes they are still called that. And if there are certain Tier 1 units that are unknown to the public, and even in the military, than how do you know about them? O.o

  • @DopeShowDeath Delta doesn't exist, they're called something else for over a decade now. Also Tier 1 incorporated certain classified units that are unknown to the public, and most in the military.
