this is my Cadillac Deville 1984 6,2 diesel (Originaly 4,1) just put in sweet 6,2 GMC jimmy. I use the original tranny , I also had 1981 Cadillac Deville 5,7 diesel for scrap, needed the engine mounting and lots more stuff from that car . You can also see in the garage dodge van 350, Dodge dart 1974, cord 1936, Volvo 850 2,3 turbo and the orange engine 318 cc will be put in the dart

  • I'm assuming that you guys dropped that in? As far as I know, 5.7s were the only diesel motors that cadillac produced.

  • @honky69able i´m assuming that you dit not read the description :)

  • @honky69able you are right sir, the engine came from gmc jimmy ,i´ve heard that the 5,7 diesel is crap

I replaced the engine my self here in iceland and i am going to put LPG or (methane gas) in my other cadillac

  • that engine is not big enough

  • What a waist of time dropping in a 6.2. Should have dropped in a gasoline small block. That is, unless you enjoy your luxury car to sound like a Mack truck and smell like kerosene. To each his own.

  • The first 350 diesels were Olds built and were

very trouble-some, injector pumps usually failed/higher

comp. ratio [22:5:1] burned and or broke valves.

most dealers ended up replacing them with gas 260's

    or 305/307's.

  • @faxafoli I've heard that too. Don't know much about 'em.

  • @faxafoli You'd be right. Watched/commented on my phone, didn't see the description. Cool idea.

  • This is the shit bro great Job! that torque must be addicting.

  • you should of saved the diesel 350 engine there worth big money the blocks are high in nickel and the cranks are forged people turn them into a bullet proof gas engine that can make 700 hp !! look up 434 stroker you would be suprised !
