@RACINGWILDONE saw some interesting reports of frozen pipes at reactor 5 yesterday...i suspect they (5 & 6) have been compromised as well, to what extent who knows.

Thanks again RadChick. We appreciate your time and effort. Take good care of you.

@crysta555 I would have to say that reactor # 4 is crumbling from the inside out, This is the one with the spent fuel pool that has melted down, It would make sense that it will become wide open to the atmosphere. Or it could possibly reactor # 5. I think it's in pretty bad shape, they don't want to admit it, but they let it slip every once in awhile. Stay safe.

@crysta555 I dunno...maybe the current solar wind storm?

@jumps2thebumps did you see the major spike today in NM up to 80 CPM. Something going on there for sure, double and triple readings anywhere else in the US. Nuke plant leak maybe? have no idea. Its calmed down tonight to around 65 CPM at lowest I've seen today.

and now its back down to 8!!!

i dunno if it was you that reported the sharp drop in cpm and then a spike. but im dowwn here in tx and wattching radationework. another spike happended. this time it syarted at 20 went down to 8 back up to 15 back down to 9 and is now back up to 22, with some extremely strong lighting.
Why is the fukushima facts web site so messed up. No scroll bars, half the image does not show up at all and without scroll bars you can scroll over to see it anyway. If I click on any thing for info, the home page just sits there and nothing appears? whats the trick to viewing the site. I have 20 inch flat monitor and it won't show me half the page or present scroll bars. Something is very wrong. Thanks for any info help on that.

@crysta555 there seemed to be some problems the day we got hit with the proton event...i saw complaints all over about cell service being down and so forth. Seems to be working ok now, we are constantly adding to the page too. TY for checking in.

The jet stream was spinning like a toilet bowl where I live in the Appalachian Mtns the other day . I wondered if it was dumping that crap continiously down on us ? Some sort of detector sure would`ve been nice . Can you recomend one ?

@oicu2ok1 I have a SOEKS and a 107b...the SOEKS was cheap and lightweight, 176.- with shipping from Russia on ebay. Your body is somewhat a barometer for high rads as well...now that i have the detector running full time I can tell with eyes closed when they spike...weird soreness/head pain and burning eyes the most common, neck/thyroid pain as well. Its sounds a bit crazy but ive had many chernobyl survivors tell me the same. In fact, if you pick up something radioactive it hurts ur hand.
