It uses tubes, I replaced a bunch of capacitors. Odd thing is, recording quality isn.t too good. No, not muffled and bassy, but bassless and shrill midrange! This recorder does not like bass on record! Can somebody help me please? Apparently no model number, very odd and probably very rare.

  • My Grandparents have 1967 National (Panasonic) reel to reel and it still sounds good with music but it's only mono.
