The Green Hornet is a short film that is based upon characters from the popular radio and pulp series. The Green Hornet is actually Britt Reid, fearless newspaper publisher, who dons the Hornet's guise to battle criminals that have managed to escape the long arm of law-aided, of course by his invaluable sidekick, Kato.

I have an idea Sony, fire that sloppy Joe-Shmo Rogen, and kick that metrosexual pop star Jay Chou out the door, and let these people take the reins on the GH movie, and THEN the movie will be better cast and wont be such a dud. This is really a gem. One of those rare finds on Youtube.

As far as tone, this is the film I wanted that I was hoping Stephen Chow could have delivered. When he left the project I "knew" it was doomed.

To be honest I didn't know Green Hornet before the movie release. Then I went after materials to know more about the story and man I got disappointed with the movie I watched.

But this.....this is excellent!
