http://go.tagjag.com/mactips - It looks as though WilsonTech1 has slowly (but surely) been turning to the Apple side of the force. He's at http://youtube.com/wilsontech1 - subscribe if you haven't!

Despite what some loud-mouthed PC users would have you believe, I'm receiving more emails about the switching process every day. Yes, more of the geeks inside this very community are looking to welcome an Apple product into their home - whether it's iOS on iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, or Mac OS X on a full-on PC.

Yep, a Mac is a PC - but a PC isn't a Mac.

Confused? Welcome to our condition. We struggle with making better decisions for ourselves, and we take the time to share our perspectives and experiences with the world via YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and the like. If you choose to make a different decision for yourself, who are we to judge? Then again, for you to judge us for spending our money however we seem fit... well, that's just making you (and your kind) look bad.

A truly balanced geek tries everything when possible. The admonishment of any unfamiliar system without merit is not just shortsighted, it's the pinnacle of being an under-informed imbecile.

We've hashed out these arguments ad nauseum, and I'm certain the "wars" will continue. But, until you start paying someone else's bills, you have absolutely no right to tell them what to do.

But help guide their decisions to bring them closer to happiness? That's our respective onus.

  • @TheGrandmaster1986 what proprietary components are you talking about?

  • I am only here to see Wilsontech1. :D

  • A Mac can do both!

  • welcome to the dark side

  • I have the best of both worlds. Just sold an iMac and about to build a Hackintosh to take its place. I have a Macbook Pro as a laptop and it's the only one since I don't really like laptops. 3 Windows PCs, 1 is an OEM and 2 are custom built. I also have a MacPro which I was able to get cheap. One of my custom built rigs also has Slimpup loaded up on it and another partition for Ubuntu Studio. I personally think that my old OEM is faster than my supposedly superior iMac. Oh well. Custom built ftw

  • Once you go Mac, you don't go back!

  • WILSONTEHC1 IS GOD

  • @davidslinuxshow This is true! I need to spend more time on linux to fully appreciate it, but I think the problem vista had was all the stuff OEMs did to their PCs. Like I've had Vista running on my custom rig as my primary OS until windows 7 came out, and I never had a single problem with it!

  • Chris, do one of these videos with David Di Franco! You, him and Soldier are my fave tech reviewers
