Thanks for mailing it. I'm pleasured to hear it again. It's one of the lucky moments in my life.

It's a pitty that I can't understand all, but the rest I understand it's very funny.

Al Bowlly is fantastic but Anona Winn is also fantastic

I am a great Al Bowlly fan, but I mainly recall Anona Winn on some radio quiz programme in the 50s (Animal, Mineral and vegetable)? I have seen photographs of her with Al, but know very little about her as an entertainer and singer. Thanks for uploading it.

I'd love to hear that, because she's got a beautiful voice. I haven't heard much of her material.

i have no way of downloading it i would otherwise maybe some one else owns a copy of it,i love the begining of no-one believes i'm a mermaid its starts with a load of sailors singing yo-heave-ho and she retorts now now boys not yet !!,as for the ghost of the turkey ! it starts off as farmer jenkins had a load of turkeys but his favourite one was flo,he said he would cling to her forever but alas she had to go,when that turkey died she made a vow to haunt that nasty farmer and now the ghost etc

Great song Kay.
Thank you for posting it.
My favorite of Al Bowlly is My Hats on the Side of my Head from the movie Murphy's War with Peter O'Toole.
The song was very hard to find, not knowing the singer or the name of the song.

That's one of my Bowlly favourites too, and one of the first Bowlly tracks I heard! Glad you enjoyed the song.
