You need to read it all, no matter how vile it is. There are at least two sides of this issue who take it as biblical, and without the 'whole truth', including the issue of whether he, (Lynch) existed or not, you feed into both sides pick-n-pluck mentality.
It also encourages people who don't like to read, to maybe crack a book :)
