An atheist reads the bible, but there's a few things he still doesn't quite understand. The bible from a skeptical point of view. This is the first episode of a series and deals with the core Christian belief of original sin and the idea that Jesus died for our sins.

Original sin and sacrifice of Jesus for sin atonement is a Christian concept. No where in Judaism is there "original sin and human sacrifice for atonement."

Original sin is a load of bs. That's saying that God is unfair. Why would we be punished for something we didnt do since the day of our birth. Man i hate how christains make God out to be a contradicting, hypocritical evil dictator. That's the reason i feel why there are so many athiests, who would want to worship something like that? I believe in God, Jesus, & the 10 commandments. Most of the seven deadly sins is all human nature. Why should we go against what is programmed in our brains?

Its really a shame that we have to give these paultry beliefs status in the process of supporting our point of view. We shouldnt even have to support our own point of view as the burden of proof is on believers. These fairy tails should be on a book shelf collecting dust already.

Excellent video! What could be more repugnant than the sacrifice of an innocent person so that a guilty person could be free? Imagine if we applied this principle to our criminal justice system.

And why would anyone believe that a human sacrifice is the best way to save mankind? What other problems can be solved by human sacrifice?

It is all so unbelievably stupid and immoral.
