I need help on improving my forward skating stride so i will delete all bad comments. Just leave comments on telling me ways I could make my stride better and how to improve it and what yall think of it now. Thanks
When your trying to go top speed definently have you but end hand on the stick only, i point it up in the air like you see NHL players do to gain momentum if i'm really busting off. Or just flip it forward-backhand with your stride while its laying on the ground. Also move you free hand like your a speed skater up and down to gain momentum. Proper skate fit and bearings that are ABEC 7-9 are the fastest. My problem is stopping after exploding too fast.
Your strides are too short, mainly because your feet are too far apart. Practice pushing with one leg and rolling on the other, and then switch. Strengthens your stride. Bulleye9 is correct, you need to bring your feet under you more, gives you better forward momentum and a longer and in turn more push out of your stride. DON'T SPRINT WITH BOTH HANDS ON YOUR STICK! If your catch someone behind you with the blade of your stick, their gonna be pissed and you'll get a 2 minute minor high stick.

two things to improve
1. Yours arms are going too mutch from side to side. Scan the internet and watch some video , you will understand
2. After your push, try to bring your leg a little more under you , try to keep your skates as low as possible when return under.
