Well it's like the signature sound of the band, i mean without his solo's it wouldn't be dinosaur at all, that's what set them apart from all the other indie rock sorta bands at the time

i really wouldn't say that was the whole point of dinosaur. his guitar solo's were pretty concise until the early 90's by which point its basically just j mascis solo. to me their point was to be a continuation of hardcore and combining it with a lot of different influences because hardcore was such a rigid genre. but the solo's certainly set them apart in the underground. and in my opinion his guitar solo's do go on abit too long when playing live these days, and i really love his solo's haha

if that girl in the beginning is a true fan, and she is smarter than she portrays....than i need to meet her.

whoa jeez, no need to be a twat about it mate. pretty much the whole point to dinosaur is the endless crazy guitar solos. when i saw them live they played i don't wanna go there to end the set and the solo went on for a good 10 minutes. if you don't like stuff like that then..well, i don't see how you can really like this band
