Forza Motorsport 3 (Demo) Clutch Control

I just got the demo of FM3 and the one thing I was really curious about up until now was the clutch control. I decided to make this video to show how it's implemented into the game. I've always wanted this feature in Forza 2 and I think it works great. Guess I'll have to get FM3 now...

Game settings are at expert, the only assist turned on is ABS.

Oh, I also threw in a bit of the rewind feature at the end.

man badass driving!!!!! but how do i use clutch because i drive manual so clutch you press after you gear up or down or before ? please help....and also you press LB right :)

@illdestrukter What you want to do is have the clutch engaged whenever you change a gear. So the order would go: Clutch, shift up/down, release clutch. You don't necessarily have to let off the gas, but it's good practice to do so.

@NOSwaster13 Nice fail at not doing your research. When Forza 3 first came out, the game automatically revved up the car at the beginning of the race. This has since been patched out. But if you cared to actually watch the video you would see that I am indeed using the clutch button. That would be enormously hard to fake and there would be no reason to do so in the first place.

i can rev match with the controller when you downshift...you just got to time the throttle and clutch right while holding the brake

you can change the clutch to be the A button... it makes rev matching much easier as you are braking for a corner..
