This may have been done as a school project, but I am seeing a huge potential here. I really love the way you used streaks of matching lights, to add a bit of dynamic action, and a hint that they're entering the combination sequence.

Great, now I miss smoking weed.
Awesome job on this!!!

Nice work, can I ask what grade you got for it?

hey! that voltron has a better look, compared to that fat eye 3d animation series from the 90's. good job.
-
i suggest u make those lions or tigers move their leg to make them more realistic
-
I thought you modeled them based off of the toy. Good job. What grade did you get on the project ?
-

@Liam18MG : Because Deep Blue Something sings the song Breakfast At Tiffany's. They are the same band that does the background music for this piece, Gammer Gerten's Needle.

boring..

@juwell18: Yeah the project wasn't to entertain, it was to use the concepts taught in class to develop a 3-D model and anime it. I'm sorry that my 8 year old college project didn't entertain you, except I really don't care.

Jaime, nice work. Not too shabby. I challenge you to re-do this animation. Go online and find the orthographics for the different lions. Also, you need to work on your secondary motions. The leg motions are ok, but you need to study how lions move and see the way they run to match the animation. I highly recommend to use Mental ray for the texturing and use Vue to create the scenery.

Thanks for the constructive criticism, I appreciate it a lot. However, I made this animation in 2002 while a college student and I no longer have these files or access to Maya. I modeled the lions after toys that I owned, and the only movable parts were the legs and tails and neck, so that's why the motion focused on the legs.
