This video accompanies my books The Blue Cabin and Still On The Sound, which describe life on the otherwise uninhabited island of Islandmore on Strangford Lough, Northern Ireland. Hopefully it conveys something of the flavour of this very beautiful corner of Ireland.

I have flown over the lough in a light air craft in the dying days of winter and it was so beautiful, so colourful; we are truly blessed living in this island.

Just watched the Video Michael. Amazing.I do want to come and visit (summer of course). It is so beautiful and peaceful - unlike LA. Only the two of you could make this work. I feel like I have visited already. Love, June

Thanks, yes it's a very beautiful place. We have a slow internet connection here on the island (!) but I had a quick look at your YouTube page - given your interests, did you have a look at the Paul Brady video in my Favourites? You might enjoy.. All the best Mike
