@love2liveit correct like i tryed to explain on here before. people see him as uncle jesse, and some don't even know who john stamos is, less you mention uncle jesse. i find it to be very annoying, and as you can see from the roles that he jumps on, john wants to go in another direction with his characters as well. i am sure he is also a lil bit annoyed with it as well.

@CATtie397 for most it is a surprise to see john stamos playing a very different character than you are prolly familiar with, but let me explain to you why john would pick a kind of role like this. john did not start out on full house, yet a lot of people know him as uncle jesse. they also see him as uncle jesse when he's not, he's john stamos. when rolls come along where he doesn't have to play a character like uncle jesse, he goes for it so that he could show you all that he's not uncle jesse.

@SchiffThomas the difference is that alan cummings has not only done other works that required him to be outside the norm, but he is also more sexually ambiguous in his real life. I.e., he doesn't normally have to prescribe to gender role norms. John Stamos is usually thought of as very masculine and thus is supposed to act a certain way; this role is a huge move away from that. Sorry, im a psych student lol.
