Dream with Dean - The X Rated Hypnotist
May 2008 at the Army Navy Air Force Club in Brantford, here's the end of his show where he is telling them they will go home and call one of their friends and tell them they shove vegetables where they don't belong and 'it hurts, but it feels real good'.
The guys had thier underwear on their head and the girls were told to wear their bra on the outside (if they were wearing one)! Too Funny!
@philbio66 this is the point of my previous comment, what if someone likes being humiliated and degraded.
anyway, its nowhere near as degrading as a country where several thousand people are shot with handguns each year.

I agree. The truth about hypnosis is bad for business. That's is why hypnotists deliberately lie and mislead the public.

@voodoowichdoctor
why? because I feel stage hypnosis is humiliating and degrading.

@philbio66 the only way I can answer your question is with another question
why are you carrying on a crusade all over the internet against it? (especially as you have not even been hypnotized yourself)

@voodoowichdoctor
so then why are you defending hypnotism?

people from coming to them for therapy and paying their exorbitant fees.
I don't think many of them know what real hypnotism is. anyone can do a course somewhere and call himself a hypnotherapist.

with no memory of it afterwards and has been cleared of any responsibility by the court. many people do not believe the stage type of command hypnotism is real for 2 reasons- quite often it is faked, and someone can be in a somnambulistic trance but look like a normal awake person, but highly suggestible. what I feel strongly about is the way most hypnotherapists deny this and say it is a myth or only in the movies. I believe this does much harm, they do this because they do not want to scare

@philbio66 I agree with you. I've been made to do something I would not have done of my own freewill with post-hypnotic amnesia and I was told afterwards what I had done. someone in a trance can have their perception of reality changed, so their own morals do not enter it. another theory is, someone in somnambulism has the part of the brain which makes moral judgements inactive somehow. this is why there have been court cases where a natural somnambulist (not hypnotized) has killed someone

@voodoowichdoctor
Here's the truth about stage hypnosis. It is possible to get people to do things in trance that they would never want nor would be willing to do in a fully conscious state. There have and always will be subjects who feel embarrassed, humiliated and ashamed of what they did while in trance.

@voodoowichdoctor
OK but what do you feel masochism has to with wanting to be hypnotized. No I haven't been hypnotized. The statistics are 5 -10 % of people are somnambulistic and 30% of people are deep trance subjects for any given population.
