That deal in March '68 worked out better for Toronto. Henderson, Ullman and Floyd Smith to the Leafs for Mahovlich, Unger and the rights to Carl Brewer, who Detroit signed in 69-70.

@verqa123 I could be wrong about the hatter, that might have come later, but Ullman was a Red Wing from 55-56 until he was traded to Toronto in March of 68.

The Wings had won game 5 in Chicago on Norm Ullman's hat trick, only to come home and get soundly beaten by Chicago, who won the Cup that night on Olympia ice.

@waterman9465 Ulman's first season was 1967-68 with Maple Leafs and he cant to play for Red Wings in 1961. Ulman was traded in Detroit in 1968-69
