  • Yes, I think it was cut from the cinema release but reinstated on vhs in the 80s. This accounts for the awful quality of this, the only version I have ever found.

  • "Mr. Langerhankey, Professor Pufferwhistle, liquid saturnalia": Fields was great with the sounds of words.

  • He was hysterical. Do you have this movie? I vaguely remember it. Something about people's luck changing whenever they put on the coat. I think it ended by being tossed out of an airplane and some farmers putting it on a scarecrow. I think Charles Boyer was in the movie. Anyhow, if you have it, could you put it on youtube?

    Whatever...thanks for this.

  • 1:21 -- OMG. Margaret Dumont ! What's she doing in this picture? Hiding from the Marx Brothers?

  • @AnotherGoddess Two robbers put the stolen loot in the coat, escape in a bi-wing aeroplane, the plane catches fire spreads to the coat, they throw it out of the plane.Falls to earth to a poor southern black community .Ethel Waters, and Rodchester dole out the money, everyone makes a 'wish' and gets the money to make it come true.A truly wonderful film. " Brother Orchid",is another goodie. And" Larceny Inc."

  • Supposedly, the rotating bar set for this film was re-used in Laurel and Hardy's "The Dancing Masters" (1943).

  • oh please..please please uploead the whole thing please?! Please!
