So, I'm thinking of taking down all the "eating disorder update" videos from my channel and not making those any more. Instead, I'd make videos about how to transition to vegetarian, vegan, raw, and high-carb, low-fat vegan diets, along with info about them; health; eating disorders in general; spirituality; metaphysics; and just about anything else on my heart. Whaddya think?? I make my videos FOR YOU, so I figure you guys should at least have a say in my decision ;)

  • thanks for all the comments. @RonnieInOC i may still make more binge eating videos. are you wanting to continue to hear about/see videos about me and my personal struggle with binging? if it's more the topic you wanted to hear about, i would still make videos about binge eating.

  • I say leave them up. They help others with problems. The new ones will also help so please don't take them down.

  • I don't think you should take down your videos because they could be a very useful tool for someone who is struggling with some of the similar issues you went through. I can understand why you might want to remove them (perhaps you want to shift your focus on different things) but I think keeping them is beneficial and your idea of incorporating the topics into newer videos is great as well. Do what your heart feels is best. Namaste. :)

  • Why don't you start a new channel - have two - one for your more personal ED stuff, and one for your other ideas you want to talk about. That way people can subscribe to the one they're interested in watching. For me personally, at this stage I would not be at all interested in information about changing my diet to anything like that.

  • coming from my experience, (where I was sick and began with updates on myself, and now I'm almost recovered and also focus on giving tips and tricks to get through recovery for others) I find it's still important to give stories about yourself because it helps your youtubers connect with you personally and feel comfortable opening up :-) So no "updates" but a few "here and there" :)

  • I agree with DearNicholeRae, I am in recovery and I have to follow a traditional meal plan. It would be too triggering to hear about veganism etc.. because my team wants me to stick to my MP. Good Luck!!

  • you should keep them up because you never know who you might help even with an old video but it's your decision btw u r super beautiful :)

  • I think that vlogging about what your passionate about is obviously great so if you wanna talk more about foodstuff thats cool and i think that ur videos about spirituality and that sorta thing would be amazing. however coming from someone who is in reocovery i find it kinda hard to watch videos about strict eating plans/ ways of eating and whatnot. im not against veganism or raw and i was vegan for 4 years. just sayin it can be discomforting for ppl in recovery to watch
