I memorized this song back when all I had to record it was an audio tape pushed up against the analog tv as it played live on...was it NBC? I've sung it randomly since, but I thought I was the only one who remembered. THANK YOU!!!!!!

nicvicsudds, I was thinking the same thing! I was sitting here about to cry and getting chills because this reminds me so much of my highschool, which was also performing arts. I miss highschool so much...I miss my teen years. :(

Simple, original songs.....good times.
Interestingly when you listen to a lot of these Fame songs, the singers do struggle sometimes. These days they'd be digitally remastered to be perfect. I like flawed human beings and real people singing.
