I like both artists, but talking only about their solo careers Cale is the man. Lou has a few really good albums, like New York, Ecstasy or Berlin, and all sound the same but Berlin. But Cale is one of the most versatile artists ever, from Paris 1919 to Honi Soit to Hobo Sapiens, you never know what's next.

I can remember the sleeve of the album which contains this song: It was covered with black velvet!
