wat did this cost to do? can u even get traction with a weight distribution that fucked up
-
Wish I had money do put a v8 in my 06mx5! Badass!
-
wow that is absolutely what i want in my miata, i just wish i had the ability to do a swap like that
i used to own a 92 LS400 and really loved how smooth the V8 was in it, being in a car thats almost half its weight has to be really wonderful

Amazing man. Nice job on the swap. Bet you guys feel proud and have the great feeling that only comes from swapping an amazing engine into a small car haha. Woot!

Sounds awesome, obviously. You obviously seem to be going for the "sleeper" look with the stock wheels and everything. Personally I can't stand the stock rims on the early MX-5/Miatas, but that's just me. Congrats on the swap though; looks almost OEM except for obviously the Lexus badge on the engine. ;) Have you had the car weighed to get total weight and the distribution front to rear?

Beautiful work! That's one heck of a car. We at Wreck Racing won the GRM $2010 challenge with a 1UZ-FE Miata. What transmission are you using? The A340?
Sounds AMAZING! Love it.

How hard was the swap?
lilPat 1 year ago
@lilPat It took two years working about 2 eight hours shifts a week, give or take. Knowing how to do it, the next one was built a lot faster. There are two out there, running this solid, all street legal, all emissions legal. The only British Racing Green Hardtop Lexus V8 in the world. Done here first.
